Much like my fashion sense, my home décor taste is quite a bit varied. I can appreciate a good piece from Ikea, and my friends joke that my home is like an Ikea showroom. That, however, is slowly changing. While a few Ikea pieces still remain staples in our household, I have an unhealthy obsession with shopping for vintage furniture, and furniture to refab, on the Facebook Marketplace. I gain design inspiration from my instagram feed, BH&G, and HGTV – magazine and television. While still a devout Pinterest fan, I search far and wide for inspiration to decorate my house, and make plans for future renovations to our forever home.

To sum up my design style in a sentence, I would call it Joanna Gaines’ Fixer Upper, meets Midcentury Modern, meets Industrial, meets Scandinavian Minimalist. I dream of a modern farmhouse exterior in black and white, with the clean lines of Shaker style cabinetry in my kitchen. While we’re at it, let’s put a nail-head accented tufted sofa in the living room, and an industrial chandelier above the dining table. To finish her off, we’ll do a white fur accent rug in my office with a refurbished vintage campaign style desk and an expansive live edge wood table with metallic gold steel legs for crafting and creating my jewelry line.

Stay Stylish,
